The fourth edition of Big Brother Naija – or BBNaija – is here finally after auditions in some states in Nigeria, auditions alleged marred by incidents of skirmishes among BBNaija hopefuls.
The current edition of BBNaija is tagged “Pepper Dem” and has 21 contestants of disparate backgrounds vying for a jackpot of millions.
It is traditional in the BBNaija house for the contestants to introduce themselves as a prelude to the show itself.
Below, in alphabetical order of names, we introduce you to the housemates.
She is one of the musicians in the BBNaija house. Making it to the BBNaija house would be a boost for her music career, as her fame would become international
Kaduna-state born Diane is one contestant with a love for the kitchen, cooking… A gregarious one, she says she’s in the show just for the money.
Anambra state born Ella confesses great hatred for lies and liars. She’s 30 and single but, sorry guys, unavailable!
Esther is Omo Eko, your proper Lagosian. She considers herself among the smart peeps out there and reveals a deep revulsion for peeps with poor hygiene.
Frodd, like Ella, is from Anambra stae. He calls himself a complicated character, while stating other BBNaija housemates may need to watch him closely to understand him.
Gedoni confesses a deep love for eba – or garri. He is, he says, in the BBNaija house just for the money.
Ike, who says he is single and ready to mingle, confesses a dislike for judgemental people.
She confesses a special love for family. She is in the BBNaija house for some adventure.
Another one for Anambra state! Jackye says she’s keeping the doors open and will interact avidly with other BBNaija housemates.
Jeff is Anambra bod in the BBNaija house. He is 30 and admits he loves amala and ewedu, a Yoruba delicacy.
Khafi came all the way from London, where she says she is a police officer.
She is 23 and reveals she would be observing other housemates to take advantage of their weak points. Think this a good joke?
Mercy is one for the road. She loves travelling, reading, and preparing delicacies.
Mike came all the way from Mancester, England. If he should win, he would plough the money into his business, according to him.
