Attention lovers of good kicks, get your wallets ready and prepare your minds to be blown, the new Air Jordan 5 “Inspire” is set for a Saturday release. Yes, you heard right, a Saturday release.
Originally intended for an August release, according to rumors, Footaction announced;
‘New Month, New Release!
The #Jordan Retro 5 SP ‘inspire’ is dropping on Saturday, July 6th.
For store information and procedures check Release Locator’
The Michigan-themed Air Jordan 5 features the school’s maize and college navy color scheme. This new special edition release doesn’t not include any wolverine inspired branding, neither does it have the Jumpman logo or “Nike Air” branding like the usual Nike shoes. Rather, its Jordan Brand patch still reads “Quality products inspired by the greatest basketball player ever”. The word ‘Inspire’ is branded in an upside down manner on the both inside tongues.
The Air Jordan 5 is the fifth installment of the Michael Jordan inspired basketball shoes. The first versions had the inscription ‘Nike Air’ on the heel as opposed to the more recent versions which which have a jumpman logo.
The Air Jordan was designed by Tinker Hatfield and first released in 1990.
Prices for the new kicks would range from $190-$225. This is fair enough considering what it’s worth.
