It’s a dream come true for Halle Bailey of Halle x Chloe fame as she has been tapped to play Ariel in Disney’s live-action remake of classic, “Little Mermaid” and fans are delighted.
Halle Bailey is both a singer and actress. She first embraced acting though and was a child actor as early as featuring in “Last Holiday” released in 2006, “Let It Shine” made in 2012 and in the recent TV series, Grown-ish” which is a spinoff of the popular “Black-ish” series.
Halle Bailey on the music front is part of the music duo of Halle x Chloe, a music duo that have been doing well so far, in fact, so well that they got noticed by the Queen herself, Beyonce who signed them to her Parkwood label and have been doing well so far.
The duo started their foray into music by doing covers of songs by popular artistes and posting on YouTube. Well, that soon paid off after they were discovered by Beyonce and got signed and even made appearances in her “Lemonade” album.
They went on and released an EP titled “Sugar Symphony” later and followed that EP with two singles, “Drop” and “Fall” and that was even back in 2016. They have come a long way individually since then.
The duo sang the theme song for the TV series “Grown-ish” titled “Grown” as well as a song titled “The Kids Are Alright” featured in the debut of the series and this new feat is a win for Halle as an individual and for the duo as a group as well.
