Police are investigating the possibility of “Go Loko” rapper YG being the owner of the Cadillac Escalade involved in a shooting in Compton that left an innocent bystander dead.
The news of the Compton shooting breaks even as YG’s pal Slim 400 recovers in hospital after being shot 9 times in a recent shoot-out. YG, empathizing with Slim 400 and still mourning pal Nipsey Hussle, would say Slim 400 wasn’t meant to die. But this is a different story.
According to ABC7, deputies arrived Spruce Street in Compton after being alerted to a reckless driver in a Cadillac Escalade who was probably driving under influence. The Cadillac reportedly exchanged bullets with the deputies.
One of the deputies was said to have been shot and wounded but was treated and released soon after, as his injury wasn’t life-threatening. Deputies were said to have chased the SUV right into Inglewood, where more gunfire was exchanged. A stray bullet fell an innocent bystander there.
One suspect was said to have been arrested at the scene with another reportedly at large. With the SUV now in custody, investigators are saying it is armor-plaited. Also, investigators are said to have run the registration in the database and discovered the SUV belonged to Keenon Jackson.
Keenon Jackson is rapper YG’s birth name. His full name is Keenon Daequan Ray Jackson. If he is involved in the shooting and linked to the suspects is what the detectives are currently investigating even as the world watches.
With YG electing to “Stay Dangerous,” the public is curious what detectives will eventually unearth.
