Tyler, the Creator, Schoolboy Q & Lil Yachty Boycott Sweden In Support Of ASAP Rocky’s Release

A$AP Rocky’s bail was not approved and has been placed in solitary detention in Sweden resulting from a dispute with the hip-hop artist’s team and a man who was following him. The incident led to Rocky and two associates being arrested by Stockholm authorities. His situation remains unpredictable right now as he’ll probably be detained in a Swedish prison until he appears in court. bail was denied because his status as a rapper made him a flight risk.

The Supreme Court rejected Rocky’s plea for bail. Rocky’s lawyers maintained that the captivity would severely affect the rapper’s career, claiming he’s made close to $1 million in loss since incarcerated. According to reports, Rocky is facing up to six years behind bars for his hand in the assault.

Friends, fans, and peers have showed huge support, geared towards his release across social media including the IGOR artist Tyler, The Creator who detailed that he won’t be doing shows in Sweden in support of A$AP Rocky. Tyler, The Creator is not in this alone. Another one of Rocky’s friends has also linked himself to the boycott of Sweden as they support the #FreeFlacko movement.

ScHoolboy Q supporters and followers in the Scandinavian country will also have to take a trip out of the Sweden to see Groovy Q live. The rapper made it known on Twitter as he co-sign Tyler, The Creator’s action on performing in the European country. “no more sweden for me, ever,” Tyler tweeted, following a news of Rocky’s plea being denied went public. Q followed up on the tweet, writing, “I’m not goin nomo eitHer… #FLACKO.” Lil Yachty also declared that he wouldn’t be performing in Sweden also. “Me 3 will never hit Sweden again… #freeflacko,” he wrote.

While a handful have vowed to not ever travel to or perform in Sweden, others have shown their support for A$AP Rocky in other ways. Travis Scott started a “Free Rocky” chant while on set at Wireless Festival.
