Joe Budden blasts Crissles for reviving A$AP Rocky‘s comment on black culture from a 2014 interview. With the bevy of celebrities rallying for the release of rapper, A$AP Rocky from jail, some others have found reason not to join the movement. One of them is Podcaster, Crissles of ‘The Read‘ who recently gave her candid opinion on the matter.
The podcaster took to the mic and read the rapper’s past comment on black culture and why he doesn’t involve himself in it.
Back in 2014, in an interview, the Harlem rapper was asked what his opinion was on the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson and he said this;
” So every time something happens because I’m black I gotta stand up? I don’t wanna talk about no f***ing Ferguson and s**t because I don’t live over there! I live in f***ing Soho and Beverly Hills. I can’t relate. ”
The podcaster brought up the Harlem rapper’s comment in the interview and said that was all she thought about when she heard of his arrest in Sweden.
Joe Budden reacted to this on his own podcast and called her out on it. In his opinion, bringing back up the rapper’s comments now doesn’t add anything of value to the conversation. He even called Crissles a ‘nasty ass bum ass homegirl,” Crissles clapped back on twitter writing;
” Lmfaoooooo I know all about how Burden’s bitch ass is STEAM pressed over me and our show. Nigga oughta be glad I paved the way for him. “
” I am not talking about his goofy ass on my bigger, longer running, more money making, coming to TV this fall show. He can get these tweets though. “
