Air Jordan 6 x PSG collab is set to debut this month.
When Paris Saint-Germain announced a three-year agreement with Jordan Brand in September last year, anticipation for the new model of sneakers rose sky high. The agreement was said to include a collection of over 90 performance, training and lifestyle products, such as special edition Air Jordan 1s and Air Jordan 5s.
In more exciting news, the PSG x Jordan Brand partnership is set to launch on the 27th of this month. This special edition Air Jordan 6 will officially launch in both men’s and grade school sizes. That means everyone gets a piece of the pie, including the old and the young.
The new Jordan 6s would feature a smooth black and grey upper with a “infrared 23” branding on the lace lock. The shoes would also feature a Jumpman on the tongue and ‘Paname’ tag handing off the heel pull tab.
The lace lock would also contain a ‘Paris‘ and ‘75‘ branding and a PSG logo on the shoe heel. The PSG logo would be in place of the traditional ‘Nike Air’ logo. All these new features are evident in the official photos released on Wednesday.
The Air Jordan 6 is the sixth installment of the Michael Jordan signature shoe, and the shoe the famous basketball icon wore during his first NBA championship. The shoe was designed by Tinker Hatfield and it debuted way back in 1991.
The shoe is highly valued by sneaker lovers and Michael Jordan fans alike. Released in diverse colours and styles, the most sort after is the original ‘infrared’ which is set to launch soon.
