3 Months After, Nipsey Hussle is Being Investigated for Gang Links by LAPD

by John Anusie

Nipsey Hussle is dead, but apparently it isn’t over for him just yet, as reports have emerged that he is being investigated by LAPD for alleged gang ties.

Nipsey Hussle, whose birth name is Ermias Joseph Asghedom, was gunned down in front of his Marathon Clothing store March 31, throwing America’s hip-hop space into mourning. An investigation was opened into his death immediately.

Clearly the investigation is still ongoing and even expanding along the way. So, it turns out, although cold in his grave, the star is himself being investigated.

The LAPD is said to be trying to determine if the strip mall area which also houses the Marathon Clothing store, was a centre of gang activity.

By the way, following his death, his unreleased music has been made public, and even musicians like DJ Khaled have honoured him in death. It remains to be seen what the LAPD will unearth in its ongoing investigation.
