Which young soul wanna be old and worn right now and well close to the grave? Probably not a soul. What if the getting old thing is only for a moment’s hilarity and you remain the young soul you are at the moment? I reckon you’d take the leap.
“Money in the Grave” rapper Drake took the leap and literally got other celebs doing the same. You probably know that ticket prices for this year’s OVO are some of the most expensive yet. So when Drake offered to give some free tickets, fans jumped at it.
Drake took to his verified Instagram page to share a FaceApp-ed image of him looking very much older – say, about 60 years. The diehard Toronto Raptors fan, who recently unveiled an OVO basketball court in his Toronto Mansion, then asked fans to caption the image, promising OVO tickets to the best captions.
“Best captions win ovo tickets,” he wrote. And, like a tsunami, the comments whooshed through the thread.
Other celebs were apparently observing and took the challenge to their own pages but without offering the cheddar or another motivatory gift. Come on, motivatory isn’t in the dictionary yet. I hereby donate it to the English language.
Scooter Braun, one of the celebs who took the challenge, wrote that the last couple of weeks have taken a tool on him.
Ludacris? “Fast and famous 50”
Sam Smith, spotting a glittering earring, was somewhat “confused,” asking as he shared the older version of him: Grandpa or grandma?
Dwayne rather called himself a grandfather as he shared his older self.
Kevin Hart was unfazed, however, calling himself a strong ass old man.
