HBO Max to Reboot “Gossip Girl” After 8-Year Break

Gossip Girl fans may smile in the knowledge the series will be returning to television eight years after the original series ended. The new series is said to have received a 10-episode order and will be available soon on streaming service HBO Max.

The original Gossip Girl aired between 2007 and 2012. And when it ended fans that have come to love the series were aghast. There were even calls for the series to be continued at the time. It didn’t, whatever the reason

But this has since changed. Gossip Girl is returning. It is unknown, however, if the cast in the original will be retained in the forthcoming episodes of the flick. If the cast should be retained, it would be a reunion of sorts on the new set.

Either way, those who have looked forward to the series returning get to have what they wanted. And for those who were chagrined the series ended in the first place, there is reason to smile and forget the annoyance of the past.
