A$AP Rocky has been set free pending verdict for the assault trial.

American rapper, A$AP Rocky who has spent the past few weeks behind bars is finally breathing the air of freedom. The rapper who was arrested by Swedish authorities in Stockholm had been set free by a Swedish judge after a pretty tough trial.

Rocky was released from jail on Friday after the presiding judge ruled that the rapper and his two co-defendants could remain free as they await the verdict of the trial. That’s supposed to be in two weeks. This is a big win for both Rocky, his family, his many supporters all over the world and his fans. At the judge’s ruling, cries of happiness filled the court room, and his mother could be heard saying “There is a God“.

The Judge’s ruling did not require the rapper and his crew to remain in Sweden while they await the verdict. By night fall, Rocky and his entourage had left the country to America. He’s since taken to Instagram to thank his fans and the people who supported him. He wrote;

THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART TO ALL MY FANS, FRIENDS AND ANYONE ACROSS THE GLOBE WHO SUPPORTED ME DURING THESE LAST FEW WEEKS I CANT BEGIN TO DESCRIBE HOW GRATEFUL I AM TO ALL OF YOU THIS HAS BEEN A VERY DIFFICULT AND HUMBLING EXPERIENCE I WANT TO THANK TJE COURT FOR ALLOWING ME BLADI AND THOTO TO RETURN TO OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL THE LOVE AND SUPPORT.”
