Childish Gambino’s “Atlanta” Renewed For A Fourth Season

‘s series has been renewed for a fourth season.

For lovers of the created series, , it has been renewed for a fourth season. Apparently, FX handed an early fourth season renewal to the hit comedy series. During FX‘s presentation at the TCA summer press tour on August 6th, president, Eric Schrier made the announcement. He said;

What more can be said about than the critical acclaim and accolades that Donald, Paul, Dianne, Stephen and Hiro have earned for two exceptional seasons of what is clearly one of the best shows on television. This group of collaborators and cast have created one of the most original, innovative stories of this generation and we’re proud to be their partners.”

Previously announced, production of the third season is scheduled to begin next spring, along side that of season four. Both seasons will contain eight episodes each.

Atlanta is an award winning American Comedy series created by who also stars in it. Glover also writes, directs and executive produces the series. The series in based on two cousins, played by Glover and Brian Tyree Henry, who navigate the city’s rap scene trying to improve their lives and those of their families. Since its premiere on FX on September 6th, 2016, two seasons of the hit series have been aired to wide acclaim.

Atlanta has bagged various accolades including two Golden Globes for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy and Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy. It has also won five Emmy Awards, two AFI awards, Peabody, PGA, WGA, TCA, NAACP and Critics’ Choice Awards.
