Chance the Rapper has got so much to be thankful for, one of them, being married to his beautiful wife. He’s not ashamed of it, in fact he made a whole album about it. The American rapper brought so much energy with him as he performed on the Good Morning America show as part of their summer concert series. The rapper arrived with his mom and dad, and his brother, Taylor Bennett, and 5 songs from The Big Day to deliver to the show’s eager audience.
While there, Lil Chano also sat down to discuss his marriage to wife, Kirsten Corley, expecting his second daughter with her, his $1 million donation to Chicago public schools and his new album, The Big Day. About the album he said;
“The title is based off of the best day that’s ever happened to me, my wedding day. Shout-out to my wife. I love my wife,”
The rapper gave quite a show performing five tracks from the album. While performing ” Do You Remember” he said; “We gon sing it so all of New York can hear us today!“. We’re quite sure they did. He also performed the gospel themed “Town on the Hill” and “Let’s Go on the Run”, with “We Go High”. Chance went all out, performing “Hot Shower” with special guests, DaBaby and MadeinTYO.
Backstage, Chano was presented with a plaque for becoming the first independent SoundCloud premiere creator to ever hit a billion streams on the platform. Watch his performance below:
