This year’s BET Awards slated for the 25th of June is set to witness even more star power. This is as a new wave of top artists have been added to the list of initial acts set to perform at the event which will be broadcasted live.
We already knew the likes of Future, Migos, Trey Songz, Bruno Mars, and Tamar Braxton were set to grace the stage.
However, BET has now announced a new crop of superstars including Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled, Big Sean, Post Malone, Roman GianArthur, and Jessie Reyez, in what promises to be an explosive affair.
The BET Awards 2017 will be be hosted by Saturday Night Live performer and Ghostbusters actor Leslie Jones, with Chance The Rapper set to receive the Humanitarian Award, and legendary group New Edition will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award.
In other news, South Africa’s AKA, Nasty C, and Babes Wodumo will square off in a tough competition with Nigerian superstars including Wizkid, Davido, Tekno and Mr Eazi, for the Best International Act: Africa category.
