February 2, 2019, a day when American rapper and songwriter Lauryn Hill is expected to be in South Africa for a concert, is a little over a week ago, but some fans are beginning to express worry whether she would made it to South Africa for the concert.
As we reported last year, Lauryn Hill is expected in South Africa on a tour to commemorate her first album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.” But with no current news about her coming, some fans are becoming skeptical, with some refusing to buy tickets for fear of eleventh-hour cancellation.
However, Big Concerts CEO Justin Van Wyk has come out to allay the fears of some fans, saying in a statement:
“Ms. Lauryn Hill is really looking forward to bringing her The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 20th Anniversary tour to South Africa. She will be performing with special guest NAS on 2nd February at the Ticketpro Dome and tickets are on sale from Computicket.”
Lauyrn Hill, who would be coming with rapper Nas, is said to have a habit of making it late to concerts or not showing up at all. But the recent assurance from concert organizers has since some fans rethinking their decisions not to buy tickets yet.
Well, what do you think of the concert organizer’s assurance? You may join the conversation by dropping your thoughts in the comment section.
