sues her former assistant for $5m for leaking her medical records.

Seems iconic American diva, is always in the for either being sued by an employee or suing someone. The on and off legal battle between Carey and her former assistant, seems to be never ending. Carey has even called Lianna “a grifter, a Peeping (Tom)asina and an extortionist.” Carey previously accused her of filming her while she was unaware and trying to extort $8 million from her threatening to leak the video and other info about her life.

Carey claims that Lianna breached a non-disclosure agreement which she signed when she was hired to work with her. A new suit filed by Carey‘s attorneys claims that Lianna disclosed non-public information about Carey’s personal, medical and professional affair to the press. Carey is now asking for $5 million after previously suing for $3 million.

Reports by editors at the New York Post state that Carey‘s attorneys, on Monday June 24, filed documents at the Manhattan Supreme Court alleging leaked details of her medical history and financial affairs to the British Daily Mail Newspaper.

In June of this year, the Daily Mail published an article which alleged that had spent thousands on cosmetic surgery procedures, $10,000 on butt-enhancement injections in Beverly Hills and also a whooping $250,000 on designer clothes on Christmas Eve in 2016. The report also alleged that the hit maker hid the transactions on her assistant’s American Express credit card. Another published story alleged she had cheated on James Packer, her billionaire ex with dancer, Bryan Tanaka.

Lianna has denied the accusations with a counter suit against Carey and her ex-manager Stella Bulochnikov.  She’s claiming wrongful termination, sexual harassment, emotional distress, and battery.
