It is indeed an era of thankfulness for Snoop Dogg whose speech while unveiling his star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame bore a new album and now, a movie too. Snoop is putting his house in order and letting fans know the story behind the man who makes the iconic tunes.
For decades now, Snoop Dogg has built a legacy only few can achieve and successfully stayed relevant in the game. So why not thank himself for years of not quitting, for always rewriting the narrative, and being the rapper everyone else aspires to emulate.
Barely a few days after the release of his new album, I Wanna Thank Me, the rapper on Aug. 12 dropped the first part of his new movie I Wanna Thank Me. Now, he follows it up with the second part of the film centered basically on his life as he bares it for all to see. The new film shows footages from activities surrounding the iconic rapper’s life including his Walk of Fame ceremony, various interviews, studio sessions, Snoop-capades and testimonies from pals including Usher, Diddy, Dr. Dre and many more.
Also, Snoop shared the film on YouTube to be viewed for free. How very selfless. The recent months have seen more mature sides to the rapper, including his recent revelation that he had settled things with for Death Row Records boss, Suge Knight. His track, Let Bygones Be Bygones basically tells the reconciliation story. Big ups to the very thankful man.
