Tanzania’s three-man band The Mafik is out to give you a good time. And it does that beautifully in the track “Bobo” and the accompanying music video. The charm of both song and music video is such that you might find yourself wishing today was a weekend and you were somewhere cozy with your heartthrob.
A wish may not come through in this instance. But there’s no harm wishing anyway. Four days from now the dream should come through and you would be somewhere unwinding and just having the time of your life. “Bobo” clearly gives a clue about its subject in the title of the song. In this song you get to traipse through the world of the young and rich, the world of many comforts, including, of course, the girls. It is one world you would want to tarry in.
“Bobo,” a fine song as it were, follows right behind “Vuruga,” which the group released in the middle of this month. In quality and in appeal, “Bobo” may be compared to anything the group has put out so far. “Sheba” and “Dodo” are some of the group’s releases up to this point, if you please. While awaiting more jams from the froup, you are welcome to help yourself to what is on the table.
