Post Malone whose music has racked up a whole lot of fans and listens all over the globe, continues to outdo himself with each release. Despite critics’ opinion that his music appropriates black culture, Post still delivers and is always on point.
Post Malone, real name, Austin Richard Post, was born on the American Independence day far back in ’95. Raised by his disc jockey father and his step mother, Post was introduced to diverse genres of music including hip hop, country and rock. All these genres have thoroughly influenced his music till date.
In 2015, Post Malone got his first break in music with ‘White Iverson’ when the track’s success drew the attention of huge record labels. After signing a recording contract with Republic records, Post has since been on a roll.
Previously hitting the top 10 of the Billboard hot 100 this year with Sunflower and Wow, Post Malone seems ready to achieve the feat a third time. Like his recent songs, Psycho and Rockstar, Goodbyes seems to speak volumes, with its blatant lyrics and it’s touching beats (produced by Brian Lee and Louis Bell).
A very outspoken Young Thug is featured on the track, and he does it justice with not just his bars but also his shocking vocals.
