It is Summertime. Refuse to let anyone make you believe otherwise. You only have to listen to Jaden’s “Summertime in Paris” to realize it is actually summer – or at least it can be summer, wherever you are and whatever your station in life.
“Summertime in Paris” is a “Juner” – a June release by Jaden and one that crops up as subject of discussion at cocktails. The California rapper tapped the vocal resources of his sister Willow on the track.
In fact the pair performed “Summertime in Paris” on The Ellen Show amidst approbation from the viewing public. The performance is not one to be forgotten in a hurry.
Jaden, whose full name is Jaden Christopher Syre Smith, combines acting, a role for which his father Will Smith is famous, with singing and rapping. But it is on America’s rap circuit that his name has the greatest sheen.
That notwithstanding, Jaden, who had his first movie role acting alongside pops Will Smith in the flick The Pursuit of Happyness, isn’t giving up his role on the big screen. So it is futile thinking in that direction.
Jaden, who turned 21 on 8 July, had the likes of Jordyn Woods, pops and other associates to celebrate with him. You may as well join in the celebration by bopping to “Summertime in Paris.” It is celebration time, so its summer. Say “Summertime in Paris.” Dance a jig: love is in the air.
