Big K.R.I.T. and J. Cole pull off a big win in “Prove It,” their third collaborative effort to date – third only because Big K.R.I.T. took a leave from the scene. The leave-taking forms part of the theme treated in “Prove It.”
Anyway their teaming up for the third time led to the birth of an explosive number. So, no qualms. We’ll rock the number in hand for all it is worth. It is weekend and actually a grand time for all the rocking one can think of.
Big K.R.I.T. and Cole first had a coming together on DJ Khaled’s “They Ready.” Another collab followed and then Big K.R.I.T’s disappearance from the scene foreclosed what might have been an early third collaboration between the pair.
“Prove It’s” taking on the theme of Big K.R.I.T.’s exile makes the song all the more interesting. There’s auto-fascination for what Big K.R.I.T. has to say regarding his disappearance from America’s hip-hop circuit and his experiences following.
With the series of events so far lined up in America’s music circuit, it is clear September will be one of the busiest months for American pop culture. There are many events lined up for the month, and Big K.R.I.T. happens to have slots in some of the events.
He will be performing at the Ritz Ybor in Tampa, Florida, on September 19. He will be live at Revolution Live a day later, on the 20th, at Fort Lauderdale, also in Florida.
