Khulane Morule, the South African musician who is professionally known as Khuli Chana, has dropped a new single titled “Ichu,” picking hip-hop star Cassper Nyovest as the sole feature.
The Motswako rapper Khuli Chana is actually one of the veterans in the game back home. Born 27 August 1982, he has sung his way from obscurity to fame, garnering accolades along the way. Songs for which he is readily recognized include “hape Le Hape” and “Tswa Daar.“
The first album from him is titled “Motswako Originator,” and it has since stuck as an alias or a part of his name. Years back, he did the curtain raiser during the Canadian rapper Drake’s tour of South Africa.
Cassper Nyovest, who snapped the feature spot on this track, is known as much for his music as for his endless rivalry with fellow hip-hop star AKA. The pair had fought on and off on social media. Clearly it is not a battle either of them can win.
Cassper Nyovest recently threw South Africa into excitement mode when he premiered the music video of his single “Move for Me.” The flimsy clothing of the video vixen is still the talk of town.
By the way, Khuli Chana has declared this is “Ichu” time on Twitter. Well, what’s yours? I am not the one asking the questions. He’d asked the question on Twitter. You may go ahead and donate an answer and of course dance to the number in hand.
