Jet Life Recordings‘ Curren$y, Trademark Da Skydiver & Young Roddy have released a joint track, Power.
When New Orleans rappers, Currency, Trademark Da Skydiver and Young Roddy come together on a track, they make you wish you’d seen it happen. The New Orleans rappers’ flow merge seamlessly on any track they jump on together and it’s always a huge delight to hear.
The 3 emcees are out now with a new one, Power, possibly a single that would appear on their soon coming joint album effort to be released through Babygrande Records.
The three rappers have each made a name for themselves out of New Orleans and the newly released track celebrates this fact.
Curren$y, previously one of the original members of Lil Wayne‘s Young Money Entertainment is a rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur and a record executive. He founded the label Jet Life Recordings back in 2011. With many successful mixtapes, singles and records to his name, Curren$y is a big successful worthy to be celebrated as in the song, Power.
Trademark Da Skydiver is also not a stranger to success. He is also a member of Curren$y‘s Jet Life group and has also recorded much success with his music likewise Young Roddy. Also signed to Jet Life Recordings and iHipHop Distribution, Roddy‘s music career has also been on a steady incline.
On the new track, the rappers celebrate their successes as rappers out of New Orleans, saying they didn’t start from the bottom but from New Orleans. The song debuted on the music site, HotNewHipHop before being distributed to other sites.
Saying how much the track means to them, Trademark told HotNewHipHop;
“Power is a testament to our chemistry when we come together on a track and to what we all went through to find success coming from New Orleans.”
The trio are also preparing to drop their joint album, Plan of Attack also through Babygrande Records.
