With flows to heal an entire nation, the Ghanaian man is one to hear. He is out now with his first single this year and it’s for the people closest to him, his very own Familia. The 29 year old rapper enlists Ghana’s big voices, Sarkodie and Kwesi Arthur who also deliver.
The Ghanaian artist was born in Cape Coast, Ghana and realised his music talent at the age of 6. He formed a group and ghost wrote songs for the group. Joey B graduated from Zenith University college in 2012 and fully pursued his music career.
After collaborating with producer, Lil Shaker, they met founder of Skillons, Jayso and from then on began his burgeoning career. With many collaborations to his name, Joey B has worked with a lot of artists including Sarkodie, EL, Fuse ODG, Edem, etc. American rappers, Kanye West and Kid Cudi‘s influence on his music is evident with each release.
On the new track, La Familia, the Ghanaian rapper stays true to his hip hop roots as he raps about the people who are closest to him. Featured artists, Sarkodie and Kwesi Arthur bring their A game as usual and add fire to the already lit joint.
