Rick Ross’s “Port of Miami 2” album isn’t here yet. Not to worry, though. Rozay’s got y’all in mind and has been dropping the numbers along the line, prior to the album’s release. “Big Tyme” is one of them.
Already, as you’d probably recall, he’d released some tracks from the album for the public’s delight. And he’s not done yet. He’s just released another, titled “Gold Roses,” with Canadian rapper Drake.
And no, the pair hasn’t just linked up. In fact they were pictured earlier in the week sharing a bottle of red wine and fine-tuning plans for the music video of Drake’s didactic single “Money in the Grave.”
One may add here that Rozay’s sporadic releases prior to the coming of “Port of Miami 2” might stoke the fever of expectancy among fans and probably make them snap the album on release. It appears Rozay has the whole thing thought out.
“Gold Roses” dispenses tales of loses, triumphs, hope, faith… The track should speak to anyone alive and not only grateful to be alive but also thoughtful about being alive. A personal tale or not, I’m sure “Gold Roses” will stand out as one of the stars in the album when released.
While you await the album’s release, you’re encouraged to play with “Gold Roses” and maybe share too. Possessing the track and sharing should be a thrill, for the song is good and worth hearing. Let the hearing – as in listening – begin.
