After dropping his “So Far Gone” EP in February, rapper, Drake comes through with a new album, and frankly, this is a surprise and he calls this “Care Package”.
This project though is a compilation album, his first of the kind actually and he got to release songs that while they have been previously released, were not available for commercial streaming or for purchase.
The project is pretty important to the rapper too and on Instagram, he described it as “some of our most important moments together available in one place.” True that.
It’s the first we are hearing from him since earlier in the year when he released “Omertà” and “Money in the Grave” to celebrate the Toronto Raptors’ NBA win and here’s to a pretty good project.
The last time we got an album from Drake was last year when he dropped “Scorpion” to positive responses and boy, was that cool! He gave us the “So Far Gone” EP earlier in the year, February to be precise and has now chronicled a list of previously released but unavailable for commercial streaming songs and it’s a good one.
Songs like “Dreams Money Can Buy”, “The Motion”, “How Bout Now”, “Trust Issues”, “Days in The East”, “Draft Day”, “4pm in Calabasas”, “5 Am in Toronto”, “I Get Lonely”, “My Side” and more made it into the compilation album and fans are swarming around this one already and even more will get to dive in.
Sampha, Bink, 40, PartyNextDoor and more get production credits for songs on this project. Let’s just say we love this project and we recommend listening to it right away.
