The Beatles are close to the celebration of their 50th anniversary and are planning to make reissues of their “Abbey Road” project and it promises to be great.

Their “Abbey Road” LP will have been around for 50 years today and how best to celebrate a 50th anniversary than with a project beloved by fans 50 years ago. They finally get to say hi, heard this? to music fans who didn’t get to hear it the first time.

The project is being led by Giles Martin, one of their long-term producer and he said: “The magic comes from the hands playing the instruments, the blend of The Beatles’ voices, the beauty of the arrangements. Our quest is simply to ensure everything sounds as fresh and hits you as hard as it would have on the day it was recorded.”

The process is not exactly going to be an easy one but Giles has help from Beatles experts and said that: “I work with two Beatles experts who make a whole load of notes on the transfers. Then I look at the notes and listen to everything again and make my own. Then we argue. My job is to be a bit of a bastard.”

From the coming reissue though, they have this “Something” song to keep us excited in the lead-up to the September release and we recommend listening.
