South African born – American rapper, singer, and record producer, Doja Cat has released a new remix of her single “Juicy” featuring Tyga.
The unique masterpiece by Doja Cat fits well within Tyga’s wheelhouse of raunchy lyrical contents. Tyga proved his flow still cuts, as he rides the bubbly beat with no shortage of flexes.
We are not sure of what sparked this collaboration, but Doja Cat is clearly looking to make a hit with this one.
On her Instagram page, Doja Cat announced the release of the video of the new remix.
Directed by Jack Begert, the video portrays Doja as a watermelon cut in half among other fruit-themed outfits. The 23-year-old singer performed the original version of the song on COLORS earlier this year.
Doja, who released her debut single “So High” in 2013, came to prominence in March 2014 following her signing to RCA Records, and releasing her debut EP, Purrr!
She started releasing more music on SoundCloud and YouTube as she started gaining more attention. She had also started collaborating with other artists, such as Skoolie Escobar, frumhere, Elliphant, Hellboy, and Pregnant Boy.
In February 2019, Doja Cat released her single “Tia Tamera” featuring Rico Nasty, which is the leading single to the deluxe edition of her debut album Amala. “Juicy” was among the new songs, and now she is giving out a remix version featuring Tyga, accompanied by a very colourful visual with fruit-based imagery.
