Afro B features Busy Signal on ‘Go Dance’

by James Ogunjimi

Ivorian singer,  is back on the music front following the success of his “Joanna” remix on which he featured  and this new song from him is titled “Go Dance” and has him linking up with  for it.

Produced by Team Salut, this song is another win for  who while based in London is one of the biggest African musical influences around, not just in West Africa but across.

Speaking about how he got to collaborate with  said: “It started from Busy doing his own remake of ‘Drogba (Joanna)’ and he’s someone that I’ve been listening to in my early stages. I had this song I was sitting on that I wanted a Dancehall feature for and he was the perfect person to get on it. I sent him the song and he sent back his verse within a couple days or so and then we made it happen.”

Last year, we got “Shaku Shaku”, “Drogba”, “Je T’aime”, “Melanin” and more from him and this year, he has already released “Shape Nice”, “Bushum”, “In The Bush” among others and this one is a pretty nice addition to the mix and there’s still time for him to add more.

Speaking about the motivation too, he actually found out that Afro sound is popular in Jamaica too. In his words: “Going out to Jamaica made me realise that the Afro sound is quite popular out there, so it’s a great way to tap into each others worlds and combine them together. “

This collab between the two works and the song is topnotch. We recommend listening.
