The chime-accented trap single, produced by Southside, finds Future on his raspy vocal tip, while Thugger enlists his singing – rapping hybrid aesthetic. ‘600 Days No Sleep’ is a follow up to the duo’s recent collaboration on Thug’s “Sup Mate.”
In a recent chat with FADER, Future shared his thoughts on the general listening public’s expectations of his music.
“Fans, they expect me to always have a certain pain in my music, but not just have a certain pain in my music and try to mimic moments that already happened, but actually go through things today that they know about, they might think they know the exact truth about, or they might don’t have any truth to the scenario. They look forward to my music for them to hear it and get the message and get my side of the story. It’s crazy, but it’s true.” – he explained.
Future, Young Thug, Gunna and Lil Baby are planning on releasing a collaborative project known as Super Slimey 2. Earlier this month, Thug’s label YSL Records teased the release of the work.
What’s done is done
I went crumb for crumb
I made it thunderstorm
I come from the slums
I move like I’m one of none – the lyrics quoted in part.
