American rapper, Wiz Khalifa has been on a release spree for the past three days. This is quite surprising considering at the beginning of the year, the rapper was a bit silent after dropping 2009 featuring Curren$y. The Pittsburgh rapper has for 3 days now been surprising fans with new freestyles back to back. He must have spent all that quiet time recording and suddenly wants to reward fans for waiting patiently on him. Well, we aren’t all complaining.
The weed ambassador dropped a new one on Sept. 4 and it’s called Taste. Khalifa raps over the beat from Tyga‘s Taste released last year. The rapper goes hard on this one, referencing weed as usual but still delivering dope bars as he goes. He raps, “Ice on my hands, melt it help you water plants / Yours never dance, eyes like I’m from Japan / In my Benz gettin’ fried like I come from France“.
Wiz recent just wrapped his Decent Exposure Tour in North America with special guests, French Montana, Moneybagg Yo, Chevy Woods, Playboi Carti and DJ Drama. He is set to hit Japan, Thailand and India for the Asian part of the tour. He will be supported by THEMXXNLIGHT in India.
Khalifa recently dropped the new songs, I’ll Be Good and Really and Truly. I’ll Be Good samples René & Angela‘s song of the same title and Never Lie featuring Moneybagg Yo. On Really and Truly, Khalifa freestyles over a Harry Fraud produced beat which samples Wayne Wonder’s No Letting Go released in 2003.
