Wiz Khalifa drops new song, Don’t Stop after a series of recent releases.
Since last week, American rapper and weed ambassador, Wiz Khalifa has been dropping new freestyles sampling classics and it’s been a joy to hear and follow. The rapper who most recently ended the North American version of his tour is set to embark on the Asian leg hitting spots in Japan, Thailand and India.
Khalifa on Saturday, September 7, a day before his birthday dropped a new song, Don’t Stop after releasing On The Road the day before. It seems the rapper is in love with sampling songs and beats (old ones especially). No one knows if this would later on become a full blown project. We also have no idea if the new freestyles are in anticipation of a new album.
On Don’t Stop, as usual, Khalifa goes all in, rapping over guitar-laced funky oldies beats about the events of his life. He raps about what his life has become since becoming rich, being able to buy all he wants, his son being in private school and owning estates. He goes;
It makes you think of hornets, Ferraris, Porshes / All these horses, You Dream it, we live it / the sky’s the limit.
Khalifa has since last week dropped I’ll Be Good, Really And Truly, Taste and On The Road. On Taste, Khalifa raps over the instrumental of Tyga‘s hit of the same name. The other songs, including Good and Truly sample classics from way back. By the way, Happy belated Birthday Wiz.
