Done and dusted is the word as singer, Wale comes through with a new single as he prepares us for the release of his forthcoming album expected to drop later this year.
Titled “Daylight”, the new song has as cover art the words: My Album Finished. I’m just out here playin’. The new song is indeed Wale faffing around with the energy of someone without a care in the world. Completing your new project on time must have a really good effect.
Wale who is currently being trolled and a trollee is not just out here playing, he is also there on social media dishing out subs after sole collector, Billy Jones claimed that Wale‘s shoes were boo-boo. Wale had hit back on Twitter before posting another picture on Instagram, saying he was there with his boo-boo shoes.
The new song is also Wale in his natural element with the flows. The flows have always been one of his biggest strenghts after all and he showed just why he is loved as he rapped: “I am the superego that humbled these vultures, I’m hungry, I’m focused.”
It’s a song that sees him reel out his stats and of course hit out at those trying to stop him. It’s the kind of thing you expect from an artiste that’s ready and hungry and we expect even bigger on his forthcoming project. I mean, if this one is this good, what’s to say what to expect from an entire album?
