He promised to deliver two new singles to celebrate the Toronto Raptors’ NBA win and he has fulfilled that promise amidst the many celebrations and now we get to sample the second song titled “Money In The Grave” after the earlier released “Omerta”.
This second song has him teaming up with former favorite collaborator, Rick Ross and it is a pretty dope track. This is not the first time the two are teaming up. They had collaborated on tracks like “Aston Martin Music” and “Lord Knows” and it can be argued that the song is still one of the best from Drake and Rick Ross.
They make another magic on “Money In The Grave” and unlike “Omerta” that had Drake hitting out at haters that fans are saying is Pusha T, this one has them spitting a lot of fire and celebrating being rich. It’s also a clear signal that whatever disagreement the duo had was now behind them.
Hearing him rap: “When I die, put my money in the grave/I really gotta put a couple niggas in they place/Really just lapped every nigga in the race/I really might tat, ‘Realest Nigga’ on my face,” makes sense too as he touched on growing, his friends, and yeah, a lot of money in the bank.
These two songs are the perfect accompanying tracks as some Canadians push for an holiday to be declared on the day the Raptors won and while that doesn’t look like happening soon, we still recommend listening to this new song.
