Lil Nas X is his ever daring self on this new song titled “C7osure” and he has a message for old fans and new fans alike as he spat lines that reminded fans of “Old Town Road”.
Anyone will tell you that Lil Nas X‘s most popular and successful song till date is a song titled “Old Town Road”, a controversial country rap that almost got fans stereotyping his type of rap but he wouldn’t have it and has consistently broken out of any boxes they have tried to put him in.
In preparation for his latest project that has now been released, Lil Nas X joined forces with a number of artistes to dish out new tracks from the coming album. His collab with Cardi B, released on the same day the latter’s rival Nicki Minaj‘s project was released was controversial too but he navigated that well.
On “C7osure”, which was the seventh song on the new EP from Lil Nas X, he came through with lines asking to not be limited to the style of “Old Town Road”.
“Ain’t no more actin’, man that forecast say I should just let me grow/No more red light for me, baby, only green, I gotta go/Pack my past up in the back, oh, let my future take ahold/This is what I gotta do, can’t be regrettin’ when I’m old” is notable among the lyrics and we recommend listening to this one too.
