Indie pop band, Foster the People have come through with a new song titled “Imagination” and is the first we are hearing from the group since “Sit Next To Me” went right on and became a hit.
This new song is coming after series of releases like “Worst Nites”, “Style” and of course the viral “Sit Next To Me” song and this is an improvement on the songs released in the past.
Produced by Mark Foster who is also a member of the band, the song is accompanied by guitar and keyboard and has a music video coming that will also be directed by Mark Foster.
Speaking about the song later, prominent member of the group, Mark Foster said: “I think the quality that makes us distinctly human is our ability to live in duality. We comprehend the present external world we’re in, while having an internal dialogue about what it all means. We can be our own best friends. We can be our own mortal enemy. We can ski the Alps in the peak of summer from under our bed covers at night. We can sail the high seas with Yeats and pick his brain about the afterlife in the holy city of Byzantium. We can fall in love with a stranger that passes us on the street, forming a complete history and future with a person we’ve never even spoken to.”
The group that consists of Mark Foster, Sean Cimino, Isom Innis, and Mark Pontius has never been one to shy away from using music to explore depths and they did on this too and we recommend listening.
