We all want to live as long and as happy lives as possible, and even though we are focusing on what we do here, while we are still amongst the living, all of us wonder what happens after we die. Many movies, books, and art focus their point around this question, and since we don’t have a definite answer, we still hope that after our lives end, we will end up in Heaven, or some type of it. In this article, we are going to review the Journey to Hell film and we will talk if Hell is real and how we should avoid it.
Movie plot
Many directors have tried to focus on the subject of what happens after we take our last breath, and some of them were more successful than others in that. One of the most common topics that are explored in this is how to frighten the viewer by implementing supernatural beings, jump scares, and gore. If you are expecting something like this, then this movie may not satisfy your interest. However, keep in mind that this is considered to be one of the scariest Christian movies ever made and the reason for that is that this film bases the emotions on our actions.
The protagonist, Shane Badman is a person who likes to enjoy life as it comes, and he wants to focus on money, power, vices, and all the other earthly pleasures. He does not care too much about the rest of the population and he tries to repent his sins only by saying a prayer.
As you can see in the trailer, Shane believes that no matter what you do, you are going to be forgiven as long as you pray long and hard enough.
When he gets in an accident, he ends up in Hell, and there, he finds many people who believed the same things and he realizes what the consequences of his actions are.
The film focuses on what will happen to us if Hell is real, what we should do to try and avoid it, and how we need to change our lives if we don’t want to end up there. After being saved, the protagonist wakes up a changed man, and he tries to do everything he can to prove to God that his actions are going to be the same as his words that earlier he was just saying in vain.

So, is Hell real? That is a question that we will need to wait to get the answer to, but one thing is for sure, we need to be good and do good, no matter what we believe in and no matter what we fear.
